Whoa.

Andrew Sullivan posted a link to Undercover Interview- I Was a Sniper on his site this morning. By him linking to my blog, I had more visitors today than the past 11 month history of my blog.

Insane.

I checked my stats, and noticed that there were also a ton of hits from Metafilter, and got linked to THIS hilarious thread about the interview. Read the comments…they’re hilarious. Whoever did the fake interview with me at Five Guys Burgers and Fries is genius.

One thing…there were a ton of comments on Metafilter questioning the legitimacy of this interview. The answer is Yes, this was a real interview, with a real sniper, who really did go to Iraq, and really did kill people. There is no way for me to prove it beyond my word, as I would never reveal who I interview. Keeping them anonymous is part of the fun, and allows them to be totally honest.
